"Dead lights of space"

Films: Night Skies (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Eldritch location/Forest

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Remember the absolutely lovely experience of watching a visceral alien autopsy after an abduction from the early 90s? Well, someone decided it would be a good idea to put us through that misery all over again...

History: The year is 1997. The Arizona night sky is alight with strange circular forms. In truth, it's a flying saucer, and it's set its sights on some vacationers headed for Nevada. Their presence caused them to accidentally crash, and now the aliens have some nice test subjects for experimentation...

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: Eventually, anyone who survived the ordeal are abducted and experimented upon by the aliens, including a scene where a fetus is psychicly removed from a person's stomach. After a while, the authorities find just one person back on Earth and in horrible mental condition. To this day, the "Phoenix Lights" are still being sighted...

Powers/Abilities: Psychic powers that enable them to interact with things from within their containers, such as human insides...

Weakness: Anything conventional...we think.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Any alien race that gets its kicks operating on unwilling Earthlings is an argument for an intergalactic border patrol. Aside from their unpleasant looks and expressions, these guys performed scientific research so vile that we could only see about three-five minutes of it. Here's hoping the next encounter is a bit more savory.

Trivia: -The Phoenix Lights were a series of UFO sightings from countless people living in the Southwestern states. Almost all of them describe moving bright lights in the sky in almost too perfect sync with each other. Most moved in a triangular shape, while some were rather immobile. The government was...rather iffy with info.

-This film apparently had 200 effects shots.

An encounter that always has to end badly, doesn't it?

"Can we poke and prod at it?"
Zero will remember this film.

"So, the spleen goes there?"
Good thing this mounted alien head looks great!
